The best part of this trip was being able to scuba and surf for half the day and then being able to drive a few hours and feel like you are in another world. It was several hours of driving on reasonable roads to reach this point. The weather was much colder but very relaxing. If you want to tour the Pacific side of the country spend the extra money and fly to Liberia...you will save a whole day of driving from San Jose. Lauren
