San Cristobal Hill, Santiago de Chile

Santiago de Chile, Chile
Located in the Bella Vista neighborhood and with its highest point at 880m above sea level, one of the greatest panoramic views of Santiago can be found at “Cerro San Cristobal”. On the top, a 22 meters tall statue of Virgin Mary, donated by France in the 1920’s, represent one of the icons of the city. Also, Pope John gave mass there in 1987. Don’t forget, if you go during summer, to get one of the local cold drinks, called “mole”… in my head, the chilean “boba” drink! refreshing… you can’t miss it! Fernando

Villarrica Volcano in Pucon

, Chile
This active volcano is a must go when you go to Southern Chile. Pucon is one of the most active towns, with beautiful landscapes, tons of sports to do and a fun crowd of tourists and backpackers from around the World! When you go up to the volcano, you get an amazing view and the sense the smell of an active volcano! Fernando
